Daytrip
Sailing from Amsterdam City Centre with an 80 ft. clipper.

Departure from IJplein, Amsterdam North, easily reached by free ferry from Amsterdam Central Station to the IJplein.

Time of departure on request; we suggest 11 am .

Fare: €  114,- p/p, 8 hour trips on Avontuur are intended for group bookings only, 20 to 42 people. Sailing, catering and drinks are included, as is VAT. No additional costs.

Welcome with apple pie, whipped cream and coffee and an introduction of the crew, ship's history and programme by the skipper.

Programme:
11 am during the skipper's presentation, the crew heads for the Oranje Locks. About 40 minutes after boarding, the Schellingwoude bridge is passed as well and the sails are hoisted.
12.30 pm skipper's vegetable soup, followed by an elaborate lunch: lavish buffet with many salads in the galley, where even our most spoiled guests enjoy filling their rolls.
2 - 3 pm guests can take a stroll in the historic town of Muiden or the guided tour of the fortified island of Pampus ; the latter is by appointment only.
Immediately after boarding the sails are hoisted again to continue our trip.
3 pm a snack is served on deck, alcoholic drinks are served in the galley; beer, red and white wine, rosé, Dutch gin and bitters and port. Non alcoholic drinks such as tea, coffee, apple juice, orange juice, (diet) coke and (mineral) water are served all day, of course.
5.30 pm we lower the sails and find a spot in the lee for our barbecue dinner.
7 pm we take you back to the IJplein, or, if you prefer, Amsterdam Central Station.
